What is a StoryWalk?
Healthy Loddon Campaspe has partnered with local libraries to deliver the internationally recognised StoryWalk® program at various locations across our region.
StoryWalks are a fun and educational activity that places a children’s story (literally a book taken apart!) along a popular walking route in the community. They are a physical activity and a literary experience in one.
Being active is good for our bodies, and reading is good for our brains. The combination of both is a great all-round activity for our health and wellbeing!
Where are the StoryWalks in our region?
Campaspe Shire
The new StoryWalk activity in Campaspe Shire is a bit different to our other StoryWalks because it's portable - meaning it can be moved to lots of different locations for all to enjoy!
The portable StoryWalk is currently at Echuca Library where it will be used for regular storytimes and events.
