Healthy Loddon Campaspe worked with Echuca Twin Rivers Specialist School on the Healthy Schools Project.
The aim of the project was to increase students knowledge, skills and confidence in growing, eating and cooking healthy food.
The school's garden and cafe provide an opportunity for students to participate in hands-on learning both in the kitchen garden and the cafe which uses produce from the garden as the basis for their recipes.
The school has done an amazing job integrating the garden and kitchen program into their school curriculum, involving not only students, but staff, families as well as the local community.
